Ankai Approval Meeting for New Energy Buses in Beijing

On 28 October of Ankai Approval Meeting for the Scientific-technical Achievements of New Energy Buses was held in Beijing. On the meeting, two models of Ankai hybrid power buses HFF6121G03SHEV PLUG-IN city bus and HFF6120G03SHEV serial hybrid power city bus passed through the approval by the domestic new energy experts from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Automotive Technology & Research Center, Beijing Institute of Technology, Tongji University and Tsinghua University.

On 28 October of Ankai Approval Meeting for the Scientific-technical Achievements of New Energy Buses was held in Beijing. On the meeting, two models of Ankai hybrid power buses HFF6121G03SHEV PLUG-IN city bus and HFF6120G03SHEV serial hybrid power city bus passed through the approval by the domestic new energy experts from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, China Automotive Technology & Research Center, Beijing Institute of Technology, Tongji University and Tsinghua University.

 

The experts showed that the latest two Ankai new energy buses made a breakthrough for China’s new energy bus technology and contributed a lot to the development of new energy buses. In particular, PLUG-IN hybrid power city bus solved the problem that the maximum driving range of electric buses is pervasively small.

Ankai serial hybrid power city bus is equipped with dual motor drive system (motors are controlled by separate inverters), capable of the advantages of high reliability, adaptability, anti-interference and strong loading. Compared with the city bus equipped with conventional power system, the actual fuel-saving ratio can reach over 30% on the city road and the system reliability enhance more than 50%.

Serial drive system is specifically designed for city public transport system and broadly applied in the city buses in foreign countries, involving bout 2000 vehicles in the world, such as Benz, Iveco, Mitsubishi and Man. The accumulated operation time for this system exceeded 20 million hours and the total operation mileage came to more than 100 million kilometers.
