Dongfeng Motor Company Limited has realized the annual sales of 1 million units while 298 thousand units when it founded in 2003, completing the sales objective of 2008-2012 plan ahead of two years as well heading for 1.2 million units.
As of the end of this October, the overall sales volume for Dongfeng Motor is 1.05 million units, year-on-year growth of 41%. (Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle: more than 250 thousand units, year-on-year growth of 66%;Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle: 550 thousand units, year-on-year growth of 30%; Dongfeng Automobile: 240 thousand units, year-on-year growth of 43%; Auto Parts and Equipment: the highest level in the respect of operation income.)
On 28 May 2008, Dongfeng Motor announced its 2008-2012 plan and completed the sales objective of 1 million units in October 2010 with growth range of 41%, successfully realizing the task for 5 years within 3 years.
