On 18 November, the "New Energy & Low Carbon Development Summit" for the 12th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) was held, which is mainly themed by "New Energy & Low Carbon Development" and "Low-carbon Strategy of International Corporations" about the development of new energy industry and the means of the energy exploration.

Mr. Wang analyzed the cost of "low-carbon", supposing that one city bus consumes 40 liter fuel and its cost is 260 Yuan RMB if the fuel unit price is 6.5 Yuan while the cost is less than 40 Yuan for one electric bus ( 0.4 Yuan per kilowatt-hour and 100 kilowatt-hour for full charging ). He said that, "It can save 2.2 Yuan with electric bus for one kilometer, 550 Yuan for 250 kilometers for one day. Therefore, it can save more than 180 thousand Yuan for one year (340 days)." Although the fees for renting battery are high, the cost will be increasingly lower with the industrialization of new energy vehicles. "Moreover, electric buses are advantageous in noise-reducing, heat, exhaust-emission and environment improvement. If one city bus can reduce the carbon emission of 50 tons, the effect of "low-carbon" is outstanding."

Mr. Wang expressed, "The related industries are not mature and the technical standard for new energy is not sophisticated now.
