As of 24 November 2010, the engine sales volume of Yuchai Machinery Co.,Ltd. breaks 500,000 units, year-on-year growth of 14% and it is predicted that the sales will reach 550,000 units this whole year.
Concerning the products for buses and coaches, the sales of Yuchai in the first 10 months in 2010 has exceeds that of the whole year in 2009. (At present, more than 98,000 units and near to 100,000 units). Highlight points: the sales volume of Yuchai engines (National Ⅳ) comes to more than 4000 units for whole 2010; Yuchai engines (National Ⅴ) become the top option for the first group of such engine type in China this year; Yuchai hybrid power products get customers" broad approvals in Chongqing, Tianjin and Suzhou; Yuchai gas products make breakthrough in sales in the coastal regions as well as the western regions, in particular, its six-cylinder engines occupy the top position in the industry.
Regarding marine electric products, Yuchai promotes the 6T as the main model, gains big sales growth of 6M and makes obvious market effect in Shandong, Jiangsu, Guangxi and Hainan. For truck products, Yuchai consolidates and increases the sales in its traditional market, especially, it has outstanding effect on the heavy machine project about FAW and Dongfeng and opens new markets with 6A products, reaching year-on-year growth of 60% for heavy trucks.
