As of the midmonth November 2010, the production and the sales volume of King Long Bus have exceeded 20,000 units, year-on-year growth of more than 60%. And King Long bus has been the second bus builder with such achievements in the industry, further fixing the leading position in China bus market.
King Long buses export overseas in mass production
Since 1988, King Long Bus reaches 10,000 units for production and sales till 2006 and 20,000 units from 2006 to 2010. In terms of the fierce competition for railway and road transport as well as decreasing market, King Long Bus actively makes the following measures: Firstly, it properly adjusted products and offered rich ones for the various market demands, according to the increasing short-distance transport requirement, e.g. XMQ6120C; Secondly, it actively cultivates new economic growth points. As of October, the sales of King Long light buses come to almost 8000 units, year-on-year growth of more than 200%, ranking No.5 in the industry (including 4265 units for exporting, year-on-year growth of 345.7%). Thirdly, it adjusted market strategy and transferred the sales way from major cities to the second or third line markets. Till now, the domestic markets for King Long Bus have come to 15 ones (two more than in 2009). It indicates the steadily increasing region market competitiveness.
King Long XMQ6120C
As of November 2010, King Long Bus exports 5402 units, year-on-year growth of 107%. 3000 light buses serve the World Cup in South Africa in June. It cooperated with European top transport group: Arriva on Hannover Fair in September and provided 200 buses referring to 20 million euro, marking the service capability of King Long Bus for international first-class operator. In October, 406 King Long city buses all rolled off the production line and have been delivered for Serbia.
