The 10,000th Ankai Bus off the Production Line in 2010

On 28 December 2010, the 10,000th Ankai bus formally rolled off the production line in 2010 and drove out of the plant. The distinguished guests from JAC Group, the customer representatives, journalists and all staffs from Ankai Bus witnessed this important event. Ankai Bus is another bus builder with the annual production capacity of 10,000 units after Yutong, King Long, Higer and Golden Dragon.

New Benchmark & New Starting Point


One bus industry expert said that, "It is of great importance that the 10,000 Ankai bus rolls off the production line and that marks that the China luxury buses both show the similar technology level as that of European buses and offer goods comforts for more passengers."


The activity aims to reveal the determination of Ankai Bus for continuous development. Wang Xianfeng, the Deputy General Manger of Ankai Bus introduced that, "It is the strategic choice for Ankai Bus to develop new energy buses in the future, also, the development trend for China buses & coaches. With the launching of this Ankai new energy bus, Ankai Bus will start again at a new beginning point; hold the concept of "innovative model for luxury and new energy buses" and open new prosperity phase."

Extending Product Range and Walking towards the World


Based on absorption and introduction of the foreign technologies, Ankai Bus took the leading to realize the strategic development mode of "bringing in" and "going out" and became the first China bus builder that exported the luxury buses to the high-end market in Europe and America. At present, Ankai Bus has exported products to the developed countries or regions such as America, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Hongkong (China) and Macao (China) and the first builder to get the certificates of DOT (America), ECE (Europe) and ADR (Australia). In 2009, Ankai luxury buses HFF6137K07D and HFF6127K46 successfully launched the market in America and there were 11 luxury double-deck Ankai buses running there. It is another steady step for our high-end buses towards the market in the developed country. 

 

 


Seizing the Opportunity of New Energy Development


It is an important year for Ankai Bus in 2010 when it made records in the development of China buses & coaches: 30 electric city buses in operation in No.18 bus route in Hefei in January and this route is the first one where all electric buses ran in China; the biggest single order for electric buses (150 units) in China then; 50 city buses (National V) were delivered to Beijing Public Transport Group and Ankai Bus is one of the first China bus builders with the buses (National V) in May; 11 luxury double-deck sightseeing buses exported to America in July (unit price: over 2 million Yuan); Ankai Bus made many records for the operation of luxury electric buses in China in September when the first electric bus tourist route from Dalian to Lvshun was smoothly operated for one year; 85 electric buses served the World Expo and made good performance.
