Yutong and Its Suppliers Reach Win-win Marketing Cooperation

The 40,000 Yutong bus rolled off production line on December 26. Among the celebrators, many suppliers expressed their praise and identification for Yutong’s development.  
 

Zhang Zhenhua is a sales representative from Bao Steel, and he said that Yutong’development is the natural results of their collaborative development with suppliers. Yutong’s cooperation with Bao Steel can be dated back to 1993, when Yutong Bus was just founded. At that time, Yutong Bus wanted to build the best buses with the best steels. So they started to cooperated with Bao Steel. After dozens of years’ development, Bao Steel is the exclusive supplier for Yutong galvanized sheets. As introduced by Mr. Zhang, Yutong is good at communicating with suppliers and they are always ready to try new materials. For example, two years ago, Bao Steel developed high-strength steel with strength advantages and lighter than traditional steels. Many bus builders didn’t want to try use the material for its comparatively high price and redeploys of inner structures. However, Yutong deemed that lightweight technology can effectively save energy can improve sales of their products.
 

In addition, one can get the fastest responses from Yutong for any problems, which is even hard for Bao Steel. Mr. Zhang attributes this to Yutong perfecting management system. In terms of information management, module management, suppliers management, as well as trainings of employees, Yutong is undoubtedly ahead of China bus industry. And that is why Yutong has developed rapidly in the past ten years, and they gave birth their the 40,000th buses annually.
