Growing energy crisis and environmental problems stress transportation industry. Energy-efficiency and new-energy vehicles will play an important role in solving the problems.
Higer started R&D of new-energy products from 1999 and produces a series of green buses driven by different forms of power. In early November, Higer gas-electric hybrid buses, the best model in energy-saving and emission, were used in new area of Suzhou.
Natural gas is acknowledged clean energy and gas-electric hybrid buses replacing diesel buses will reduce 80% of the emission, including 97% of carbon monoxide, 72% of hydrocarbon, 24% of carbon dioxide, 80% of nitrogen oxides and 40% of noise.
Based on oil-electric hybrid buses, Higer gas-electric hybrid bus is equipped with LNG engine instead of diesel engines.
Compared with traditional buses, Higer gas-electric hybrid bus is different in power fuel and advantageous in infinitely variable speed, automatic clutch, low-emission, low-noise and low fuel cost, etc. Fuel-saving ratio reaches 30%, i.e. 45% of fuel cost.
Higer gas-electric hybrid bus is equipped with G-BOS intelligent operation system, including seven functions such as safe driving management, fuel consumption management, remote breakdown warning management, maintenance management, LDWS, 3G video surveillance management and GPS management, etc.
