It"s said 40 brand-new Hengtong buses will be used in Datong City. Route 27 and Route 30 will see the replacement. Compared with the old buses, the new 12m 36-seat Hengtong bus has 30% more of seats. Warm compartment, clean windows, comfortable seats and trendy lamps make a cozy environment for passengers.
Branch company Manager of Datong Public Transport Group said the old buses served a long time and cost more fuels, not matching the beautiful city.
Datong Government planned to renew 200 city buses and half of the task has been done. These Hengtong city buses will play an important role in the transportation of the city.
