The difficulty to launch a second generation of one successful product is conspicuous. Apparently, Higer G-BOS is such a product, and its birth three years ago stirred the wave of intelligent management system in bus industry. Data shows over 40000 buses of 1800 companies are equipped with Higer G-BOS terminals. However, two conflicts were unavoidable: incompatibility with local GPS and data recording system of every provinces and cities and higher demand for configurations of buses.
In China Beijing International Exhibition on Buses, Trucks & Components, Higer launched G-BOS II, which optimized the functions according to user experience and improved its compatibility and maneuverability. Besides reaching the requirements of Ministry of Communications, Higer G-BOS II is fully compatible with local GPS systems and Beidou system.
Furthermore, Higer and local GPS operators set up the operation federation, covering 87% of China. Customers can connect their devices with G-BOS II without changing the primary system.
