Beijing: Renewal of 50 New LNG Double-decker Buses

To greet the arrival of summer, some Beijing bus lines have replaced the old buses with the new LNG double-decker buses.

Since the renewal of new LNG double-decker buses of T4 Line and T5 Line last year, the 3rd Transportation Company of Beijing Bus Group replaced the old ones with 50 new double-decker buses within its section again.

The involved lines of bus renewal includes T4 Line, T6 Line and 319 Line, in which new double-decker buses replaced all the buses of T4 and T6 Line. Nevertheless, bus renewal is implemented within part of 319 Line, with subsequent renewal work to be finished within this year. New LNG double-decker buses all take liquefied natural gas and are implementing national 5 emission standard. Simultaneously, the seats increases to 76 from the original 65, equipped with safety hammer of anti-theft function.
