School Buses of Shanghai must Definite License Terms

To proceed with enhanced management of school bus safety, Shanghai requires that all the school buses must definite license terms of no more than 3 years. All the school buses must be equipped with signal lights of school bus and indicators of ‘stop’ by national standards before Sep 1st, 2013. School buses for pupils must be special school buses which meet national standards since Sep 1st, 2013.

Shanghai Youth Protection Committee held its 2013 conference on 19th. According to the conference, Shanghai will enhance the safety protection system of primary and secondary school students, improve safety education system and raise effectiveness of preventing juvenile delinquency.
By now, 1954 school buses used by 383 primary and secondary schools, kindergartens and international schools have gained scutcheon of school buses, which take up 67% of the country.
As we are told, Shanghai will revise Shanghai Juvenile Protection Regulations, in which related contents of protection from society, family and school will be modified and improved. What’s more, possession management and block linkage will be more implemented, security and safety of places of looking after preprimary children will be enhanced, and establishing monitoring platforms of primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the city will be completed. Besides, in the secondary vocational schools, new system of preventing juvenile delinquency will be established step by step. Aid and management of homeless children in Shanghai will also be improved.
