Three years ago, Higer released G-BOS intelligent operation system, initiating the development of telematics in China bus market.
On May 22nd, Higer G-BOS II was launched in National Convention Center, where Party Secretary of China Academy of Transportation Sciences Wang Xiaoman, Deputy President of China Road Transport Association Kong Weiguo, President of China Highway & Transportation Society Bus Branch Zou Huxiao and Service Director of Higer Xie Jianghong started the ceremony.
Sharing the same seven functions of safe driving management, oil consuption management, GPS, remote breakdown warning management, 3G video surveillance management, maintenance management and matching management, G-BOS II is different from its predecessor in on-board terminal, system platform and business mode.
Higer G-BOS II passes CCC certificate and Ministry of Transport certificate; it also takes the lead in passing the platform conformity inspection of Ministry of Transport. The GPS/Beidou dual-mode terminal passes Ministry of Transport certificate.
G-BOS II, consisting of GPS, data recorder, video surveillance, multi-media playing, fault diagnosis and operation management, is able to meet the customers" requirements.
As the customers expect, G-BOS II develops many human-computer interaction functions, including voice broadcast, driver alert support and display of oil consumption. Besides, the operator is able to see the data of operation, safety and maintenance directly on the desktop.
Higer initiatively sets up the alliance by cooperating with local GPS operators. Currently, G-BOS service covers 27 provinces, accounting for 87%. Besides, Higer helps its customers to apply for energy-saving and emission-reduction subsidies. For example, Suqi Transport Group secured the subsidy of CNY 5.94 million in 2011.
In the age of big data, Higer G-BOS II will lead in the upgrade of telematics in China bus industry. A new era of intelligent operation is to come.
