The bus is using 160WH/Kg iron phosphate Lithium power battery produced by Beijing Dragon Power Battery Company, and the battery has 18.5% higher energy density over American A123 battery, and 20-30% higher than like products in China, and its safety and cycle life has been improved as well.
Deputy GM of Wuzhoulong introduced that Wuzhoulong 12 meter pure electric city bus is designed to have loading capacity about 415KWh, 30% over before, and the battery energy density reaches 115Wh/Kg, and the bus can run for 300 km after recharging with full capacoty and with air conditioner on.
