Dong Haiyang will be the president of the new company, and Mr. Dong told us that the new company mainly includes five fields, including exports of complete vehicles and parts, imports of technology, equipment and complete vehicles, as well as overseas investment and cooperation. BAIC will sell 77,000 vehicles till 2015, and the figure will be 200,000 units till 2020, and 70% of which will be sold in overseas markets.
In terms of complete vehicle exports, BAIC self brands will be dominating in the first phase, and Beijing Benz and Foton will be included in the future. Beijing Benz will export engines next year, and the company will plan for exports of Foton Motor, and the brands, signs and marketing chanels will remain the same.
BAIC"s strategic markets are Brazil, Mexico, South Africa and Russia, and their profits are coming from North Africa, South America and surrounding countries.
