It is learned from Jinan Public Transport Company that they will add 1000 city buses this year, and over 30 new bus lines will be open to the city.

There are sufficient bus lines in the oil city district, and the new buses will be used in the newly developed east and west districts. Till now there are 4402 city buses runnin across the city"s 212 bus lines. And 800 of the highly polluted buses will be eliminated this year. And new energy-saving new city buses with large carrying capacity will be used.
And bus body commercial advertisement are progibited in 2009, and hopefully they will be back this year, and there will be also part of public service advertising.
