Latest data shows up to late June, the top 50 bus manufacturers have sold 117,925 buses, increasing by 6.15% year on year. Sales of city buses rose 28.65%, while sales of coaches dropped 4.69%.
In the first half of 2013, Yutong sold 24,888 buses, increasing by 14.6% year on year, including 13,476 coaches with 1.0% of Y-O-Y growth and 8,453 city buses with 85.5% of Y-O-Y growth; Higer sold 11,998 buses, increasing by 6.75%, including 8,739 coaches with -3.07% of Y-O-Y growth and 2,880 city buses with 44.1% of Y-O-Y growth; King Long sold 14,766 buses, increasing by 8.46%, including 12,057 coaches with 5.87% of Y-O-Y growth and 2,406 city buses with 8.1% of Y-O-Y growth; Golden Dragon sold 12,256 buses, increasing by 28.77%, including 9,925 coaches with 12.07% of Y-O-Y growth and 2,061 city buses with 242.9% of Y-O-Y growth.
Top ten enterprises in selling large buses are Yutong, Higer, Zhongtong, King Long, Golden Dragon, Ankai, Youngman, Sunwin, Foton AUV and Yaxing.
Top ten enterprises in selling medium buses are Yutong, Higer, King Long, Ankai, Golden Dragon, Hengshan, Zhongtong, Yaxing, Shaolin and Baoding Changan.
Top ten enterprises in selling small buses are Golden Dragon, King Long, Higer, Dongfeng Special Vehicle Company, Shaolin, Baoding Changan, Yutong, Quick Bus Company.
