Golden Dragon

This man is Mr. Lv Zhenhua, who makes two "first": the first one to introduce China buses to Philippines; the first one to assemble China buses in Philippines. How did these things happen?

Adventure during the "SARS"

In 2003 Spring, the invasion of SARS messed up China, as well as half of the world. At this risky moment, Mr. Lv flied to Xiamen to negotiate with Golden Dragon about the dealership.

As a Chinese Filipino, Mr. Lv was involved in trading with China early. Coincidentally, the bus he took from hotel to exhibition hall was Golden Dragon every time he attended the Canton Fair, and "luxury and comfortable" of Golden Dragon buses impressed him.

In 2003, the third year Ms. Arroyo assumed the Presidency, she was determined to develop the economy. Road transportation started to boom, following the development of tourism industry. Under the background, Mr. Lv tried his best to ask for the information about Golden Dragon and its buses. After contacts and negotiations, he got the dealership of Golden Dragon in Philippines.

Application of "250 Law"

Golden Dragon bus dealership made Mr. Lv delighted and stressed. He found that in Philippines China buses, in spite of more beautiful appearance, were repelled thanks to the impression of bad quality.

An idea come to Mr. Lv"s mind. He visited a customer and said: "Why not try this bus for half a year? If it turns out to be satisfying, we"ll talk about the business then." The customer, full of doubts, took the advice.

Half a year passed and the customer with check came back to Mr. Lv to purchase the bus and ordered three more.

The increasing Golden Dragon buses catched the attention of other customers. "How about the bus? What if it breaks down?" they asked. Then good reputation and service won Mr. Lv more customers.

American sales expert Joe Girard had a famous "250 Law" saying every customer has 250 relatives and friends, and if you get one of them, you get all of them and vice versa.
The "250 Law" inspired Mr. Lv to improve his after-sales service. His endeavor led to the hot sales of Golden Dragon buses, as well as other China brands. It"s said over 80% of luxury buses in Philippines are from China.

Dream in the Heart of Mr. Lv

Mr. Lv"s resolution and conscientious efforts moved Golden Dragon. Within one year, he became the general agent and the rising sales of Golden Dragon buses proved the wise decision. More preciously, Mr. Lv makes a good example of Golden Dragon overseas dealer for ten years, despite the changing of Philippine and world economy.

In 2009, Mr. Lv decided to establish a factory in Philippines for local assembly of Golden Dragon buses. Although Philippine Government encouraged the investment to auto industry, the starting price for admittance is USD 10 million.

Mr. Lv paid the money, thinking of it as a good deal. From 2010 when the first assembly factory put into production, Mr. Lv had 30% of sales growth for three consecutive years. He knew the Government would promote the development of traffic field and being the first one to build assembly factory would increase the competitiveness.

Manila Times said on January 28th that NEDA stressed the necessity to accelerate the approval of NTP. Philippine high-ranking officials expressed the Government would promote the programs related to traffic and new energy fields.

All the news, as Mr. Lv thought, predicted the prosperity of Philippine bus industry. He"s been devoting himself to fulfill his China bus dream with Golden Dragon.
