Children are always the focus of the society; going to school is the dream of every child; safe and happy trip to school is the basic demand of parents as well as the whole society.
From 2002, rural schools were merged to center schools in order for the resource allocation of rural education. It"s said rural schools decreased from 0.51 million in 1997 to 0.23 million in 2009 and the students relied on school buses more than before. The lack of standard school buses increased the frequency of safety accidents.
According to the calculation of education departments, 1.5 million school buses and CNY 460 billion financial investment are required. Facing the situation, Mango V Foundation cooperated with Higer Bus to launch the charity project--"Happy School Bus" for raising money to donate school buses.
The charity project, boasting innovation, great influence, sustainability and information transparency, won "China Charity Award" in April 2013. Higer will make greater contributions to the promotion of school buses.
