It"s said CSR Times is planning to building the new energy automobile manufacturing base in Shijiazhuang covering an area of 520 mu.
After the half-year operation, 22 gas-electric hybrid city buses of CSR Times proved themselves by saving 5,670 m3 natural gas worthy of RMB 20,000 Yuan annually. Secretary of demolition office of CSR Times Shijiazhuang Branch Du Zhigang said the company owns all the eight core technologies of new energy vehicles.
"Local manufacturing of new energy city buses in Shijiazhuang is our goal." uttered Mr. Du. CSR Times will make full use of its core technologies and integrate the resources of Hebei Changlu Bus Factory for R&D and manufacturing of NG, gas-electric and oil-electric city buses. Annual output will reach 3000 units in 2014 and 5000 units in 2017. The company has signed the cooperation agreement with Changlu Bus Factory.
