For now, Notice about Continuing New-energy Automobile Promotion is just released by Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information, and the State Development and Reform Commission .

Calls for new-energy automobile with green environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction is getting stronger and enhanced for all these recent years. Since this trend gets better and better, some problems and challenges that new-energy automobile faces await to be resolved. Fortunately, within new-energy bus field, Ankai Bus, as a representative of new-energy bus enterprises, independently develops its own Ankai I-EMS Intelligent Electronic Management System to realize intelligent operation as well as energy conservation and emission reduction, leading the trend of Intelligent Bus Cloud.

I-EMS Remote Supervisory Control Equipped to Master the Optimized State of the Bus

Compared with conventional automobile, new-energy automobile is of electronic feature more like a computer on the wheel. As people’s expectation, such a feature of openness and compatibility owned by the internet is expected to make information delivered even into a dialogue anywhere and anytime. Ankai I-EMS Remote Supervisory Control System achieves the data link connection between bus and back-end server and enhances interaction and responding capability of systems. The condition of bus would be delivered back to I-EMS system and processed by information processing center for following remote supervisory control, diagnosis and maintenance.

Ankai I-EMS Leads New-energy Cloud Operation Generation

Based on these data connections, I-EMS realizes cloud intelligent management of vehicles, including remote data supervisory control of vehicle operation information, remote notice of malfunction, battery performance analysis, energy consumption management and score of driver’s performance. Meanwhile, remote malfunction diagnosis and remote vehicle operation order are as well included. Thus, when driving a vehicle equipped with Ankai I-EMS system is like being accompanied by a senior engineer from the original plant to inform drivers of the system condition and how to drive for lower energy consumption. More significantly, this system can make a warning in prior to malfunction of the vehicle to avoid the accident.

There two parts of Ankai I-EMS system hardware which are vehicle terminal and back-end management--server cluster equipped in headquarter of Ankai.

Vehicle terminal connects with intelligent CAN network of Ankai new-energy bus. Through Can network, back-end management can master and control operation state of all control equipments. Simultaneously, vehicle terminal establishes data connection by GPRS network and management system to deliver compressed supervisory control data to back-end server. Then, useful information such as power loss and malfunction, filtered by back-end server, can be delivered to remote terminal by data links and inform drivers through I-EMS intelligent instrument.

Server cluster in headquarter of Ankai is more like data management center of all vehicles equipped with I-EMS system. Everyday I-EMS remote supervisory control platform can take in plentiful vehicle operation information and save in the database management system permanently. The most basic function of I-EMS remote supervisory control platform is to provide connectors for different users. Therefore, timely supervisory control, location, speed, remained power, operational parameters of concerned vehicles can be delivered to users.

By connectors open to customers, customers can make a score according to the energy conservation and lower consumption based on the driving habits of each vehicle. Through different driving habits, electricity loss can be improved and saved.

This system can also be customized to make Ankai system engineer recalibrate diagnosis and operational parameters of vehicles. Thus, when vehicle operated in abnormal situation, Ankai system engineer can analyze the abnormal part by remote data. If malfunction of software and equipment parameters happens, some re-calibrated processes can be done in the remote terminal. But if it is hardware equipment, it can inform maintenance staff of preparing relevant accessories according to remote diagnosis report in advance.
