Automobile Remanufacturing: Parts Raw Material to Deregulate

: Guo Qimin, director of NDRC Resource Saving and Environment Protection Enforcement, said that parts raw material restriction of automobile remanufacturing would be deregulated gradually. Government would let go of compulsory scrap of five major automotive parts and import of scrapping parts.

Automobile parts remanufacturing means the manufacturing process of waste automotive parts, engineering machinery and tools in professional repair. Remanufactured products would possess the same quality and performance of the original ones. Compared with manufacturing new products, remanufacturing can save 60% energy, 70% material and 50% cost.
