In Kortrijk, Scania exhibited the latest Touring with cooperative manufacturing of Higer in China and announced a new order of selling 20 Scania Touring buses to German together with Higer.
Martin Lundstedt, CEO of Scania, said, “Touring is the one of the essential series of Scania global bus family.”
Part of the team behind Scania Touring’s success
In 2009, Scania Touring bus was firstly appeared in Kortrijk in 2009. In spite of the depressed global economy at that time, Touring was the hot seller in over 40 countries around the world. After constant improved, Touring bus has already showed its highest cost-performance in large bus field by its famous Scania chassis, unique Chinese upload and special body appearance.
Klas Dahlb?ck, principal of Scania bus & coach, said, “Positive feedbacks given by customers of the world earn lots of returned customers. There is no more good performance for a bus.”
Scania and Higer now own a specified R & D team, keeping highly close relationship in developing, researching, manufacturing and technology since 2007. The project shows that perseverance and mutual respect are the key of successful cooperation of Scania and Higer.
