After last new-energy automotive subsidy policy was suspended at the end of May in 2013, MIIT released Notice About Continuing Developing New-energy Automobile Promotion together with Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science and Technology, and NDRC on Sep. 17th. New-energy automobile subsidy policy with lots of expectation by the industry finally went public. New policy makes a clearer definition about targeted vehicles. Faced with new policy, prospective R&D and technological storage of Zhongtong Bus make Zhongtong new-energy bus perform well in the market.
New policy released means that new-energy vehicle would continue getting national subsidies in the following three years including 2013. Compared with the last round of subsidy policy, the new one includes pure electric bus mainly in the bus model. As for hybrid bus, plug-in hybrid bus is listed separately excluding traditional hybrid bus. In very short period, new policy would definitely influence sales volume of traditional hybrid bus. However, as for bus manufacturers with relatively improved new-energy bus models, market initiatives of them would be more flexible. For Zhongtong Bus which began earlier in new-energy bus field, it keeps being guided by policy and continues increasing investment, improving product performance and model series. As for plug-in hybrid urban bus, Zhongtong Bus establishes electromechanical coupling drive system platform of generalized and expansive plug-in hybrid power depending on national new-energy automobile industrial innovation projects. Pure electric bus of 6-8m would get subsidy of 300,000 Yuan, 8-10m would get 400,000 Yuan and buses over 10m remains 500,000 Yuan. This difference makes more space for pure electric bus manufacturers in developing products. Product adapts to market much better. And customers would choose different pure electric buses and build good development atmosphere of new-energy bus.
As further implementation and promotion of new-energy automotive subsidy policy, new development opportunities push Zhongtong Bus continuing optimizing present products, enhancing development and research of pure electric bus, improving product series and providing more considerate and quality service and products.
