According to Ankai Bus, pure electric bus manufactured by Ankai was officially into trial operation in Abu Dhabi, the capital of UAE. As part of sustainable transportation plan, this bus was the first pure electric bus running within this area by Abu Dhabi Department of Transportation and would be operated on various routes of city and suburb of Abu Dhabi.
Sayyid Muhammad Hamli, director of Institutional Development Department of Abu Dhabi Department of Transportation told us, “By a series of serious comparison, Ankai electric bus of China is considered as the best suitable choice so far. It is a standard pure electric bus which only needs battery replacement and is of no noise and pollution.” This electric bus would be operated on the route between Abu Dhabi Mall and Marina Shopping Mall for that this route is the busiest and longest route in the city. Thus, this electric bus can be more tested in its adaptability and performance in complicated surroundings.
