Foton AUV Holds Annual Marketing and Business Conference 2014

Themed at “Focus on customers, improvement in capability, reform and innovation, passion and breakthroughs”, the conference concentrates on summarizing 2013 and planning 2014 in sales and marketing work. 2013 is a rewarding year for the marketing work of AUV which is going through a series of reforms and innovation. Despite of the slump market, AUV remains to achieve a 15.8% growth over last year and lead others in many segmented markets. Particularly, it is awarded with the world’s largest bus order—3012 units of buses for Beijing. Besides consolidating its traditional advantageous business, AUV also make breakthroughs in many targeted markets such as Tianjin, Hebei, Jiangsu, Fujian and Jiangxi with a growth rate 0.5% higher than the industrial average.


The bus industry also witnesses some profound reforms in the past years. In terms of urban bus sector, AUV which has deepening the clean energy and new energy bus industry for years and enjoys rich product portfolio ushers in a brilliant moment by several big orders and achieves remarkable results as the environment pollution prevention policies are implemented across the country and “green bus” becomes an inevitable choice. In the intercity bus sector, in response to the “minor profits” caused by the development of high-speed rail and increase of oil price, Foton AUV in 2014 will launch more intercity products or upgraded products to help customers tackle with operation problems through a complete solution based on its “CVC full value innovation strategy”.
