On 1st March 2014, Foton AUV Bus"s promotion event in Anhui area took place in Hefei. Representatives of more than 50 transport companies in Anhui Province attended the meeting. At the event, four companies signed purchase agreement with Foton AUV, buying 27 AUV buses.

At the event, Fan Xianjun, vice president of FotonGroup and deputy general manager of AUV Bus Division, introduced the development status of Foton and AUV to the representatives. In recent years, AUV"s annual production capacity has reached 20,000, its products covering 6 markets sections in road transport, travel, groups, buses, school buses and special buses, with independent intellectual property rights of 10 body platforms six chassis platforms and more than 500 product resources. In the areas of clean energy and new energy buses, AUV is industry leading, known as "China"s best new energy bus brand." In the next few years, AUV will increase its presence in road transport market, developing and manufacturing more high-end, large-scale road buses.

The BJ6113 series of Foton AUV received 16 orders at the event. BJ6113 series possess the same excellent performance and quality as the mature BJ6103. Also, its configuration is optimized, with vehicle length increased, driving area enlarged. The seat capacity is 51 +1 +1. The two versions, namely the travel version and the group version, will mainly serve for domestic travel and shuttle use. Flexible, safe, economic and environmental, it is quite a cost-effective bus which can be powered by diesel or NG.
