In Apr., 2014, ten units Foton AUV mini-buses officially made their debut in China’s capital. The eight-meter long vehicle has been put into operation on the newly developed bus route No. 530. With a width of only 2.35 meters, it can easily move around on less broad roads and on roads with heavy traffic.

Featuring low-floor one-step body structure, the bus provides much convenience for its passengers. Colored in white, green and gray, it is equipped with 16 seats, air-conditioners and a number of electronic devices, such as mobile TV, GPS positioning system, voice communication, and LED display. In addition, with elevated CAN bus system, the bus’ operating conditions are closely monitored in a timely manner.

Powered by LNG, the mini-bus lowers the emission of particles to the minimum and can play an important role in improving the air quality in the capital city.

As the first batch of mini-buses in the capital, the bus represents a huge step forward for Foton AUV in terms of its product development and technological innovation. Its presence in Beijing is surely good news for local residents in the city.
