Scania will deliver 114 buses and coaches to the Norwegian public transport operators L/L Setesdal Bilruter and Agder Buss AS. A total of 89 vehicles will be delivered this year and an additional 25 will be put into service during the autumn of 2016. The order is the largest that Scania has ever received for buses and coaches in Norway.
Scania will deliver several bus and coach models, including the Scania Citywide city bus, Scania OmniCity 320 and 340 intercity buses as well as its Scania Higer A30 coach. As part of the deal, Scania will provide repair and maintenance services.
All the new buses and coaches will be fitted out with the Scania Fleet Management, which is an internet-based service for monitoring, analysis and control of the vehicle fleet.
