Recently, Beijing Public Transport Group brought its Foton AUV BJ6123C7BCD(LNG), 12-meter recharging electric bus and 6.5-meter mini electric bus on display at 2014 Beijing International Energy-saving & Environment Protection Exhibition, aiming at helping the capital city clean its air.
Also on display at this year"s exhibition are various new energy vehicle technologies and products, such as electric vehicle, solar-powered concept vehicle, double-power-source trolleybus, LNG city buses, recharging post for electric buses, batteries and battery-replacement system.
In recent years, the governments at various levels have been attaching great importance to environmental protection and have promised to give priorities to the development of urban public transport. Against such a backdrop, the show area of transport at this year"s exhibition gave full display of a number of new technologies, which help urban citizens realize low-carbon travel, including intelligence transport, exhaust controlling technology, new energy vehicles and related devices, etc.
Under the theme of "Energy-saving, Low-carbon, Clean Air", the eighth Beijing International Energy-saving & Environment Protection Exhibition, jointly hosted by Beijing Municipal Government and National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), was held in Beijing Exhibition Center on Jun. 8 to 11.
