Recently China Association for Quality Inspection gave the awards for the good quality work from 2011 to 2013. Xiamen Golden Dragon was the only bus enterprise among the list of all sixteen enterprises from Fujian winning the title of “Enterprises with Outstanding Qualities in China”.

Xiamen Golden Dragon takes the requirement of the customers as the ultimate quality standard for products. The concept was integrated in the whole procedure of the design, production, sales and aftersales services. The general international TS16949 quality management system and AUDIT quality review method were carried out in the quality inspection to satisfy the customers.
According to the quality assurance manager Yanbin, TS16949 is a quality management system that focuses on the process normalization. Ensuring the product quality by managing the process, it has become a mainstream quality management system for the major bus enterprises at present. AUDIT, which was proposed by German Volkswagen in 1970s according to the changed auto market, is a new quality review system. The quality of every step concerning the customers such as safety, reliability, comfortability, convenience, vehicle appearance as well as environment protection for the products and services with special requirements could all be reviewed with this method. It has been integrated in the key procedures such as the vehicle appearance, driving, electrical parts, vehicle body, and chassis in Xiamen Golden Dragon buses.
Apart from the routine inspection from the entry of spare parts to the delivery of final products, Xiamen Golden Dragon has worked out a detailed quality target for the products and a strict assessment standard for the suppliers by collecting, analyzing, and improving the quality information about the supporting manufacturers from aspects of the aftersales services, the sales, the production lines, the experiment designs. By forging a strategic cooperation relationship with the excellent suppliers, it ensured the vehicle quality from the very beginning.
