CHTC-BONLUCK 6-Meter Pure Electric Bus Passed Tests

2014-07-15
After three years of repeated experiments and tests with over one hundred experts and design engineers, JXK6650BEV, a newly developed 6-meter pure electric bus of CHTC-BONLUCK, has finally passed all performance tests, including a 15,000 km reliability test.

After three years of repeated experiments and tests with over one hundred experts and design engineers, JXK6650BEV, a newly developed 6-meter pure electric bus of CHTC-BONLUCK, has finally passed all performance tests, including a 15,000 km reliability test. With the parameters having reached or surpassed the same level of the similar vehicles, the bus has got the approval from MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). Its stability and reliability have already placed it among the top rank inside and outside China.

In order to better meet the requirements of the market and test the performances of the bus, JXK6650BEV was tested in Lushan Scenic Spot with an altitude of 1,474 meters and winding steep roads on 9th July.

The accompanying journalists from Jiangxi News and Daily News spoke highly of the bus and pointed out that based on the present power rate, the operating cost of electric bus per km was only one third of that of the similar diesel bus, which amounted up to 120 yuan per km.

With the self-owned intellectual property and sophisticated technology, the motor and the controlling system, the core part of JXK6650BEV, could optimize the use of energy by retarding and recycling the energy during the brake. From the top of Mt. Lushan to the north gate at its foot, the bus recycles ten KWH instead of consuming any electricity. Compared with the traditional diesel bus, it realizes 100% zero-emission.
