MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) organizes a forum on the benchmarking quality for industrial enterprises in 2014 and holds an awarding ceremony for the enterprises entering the list of industrial enterprises with benchmarking quality in 2014. Altogether there are thirty enterprises with their individual and typical experiences in the list. Zhengzhou Yutong, the only enterprise from the Chinese bus industry, entered the list because of its experience in improving quality through the continuous reliable management.
According to insiders, quality has become strategically important for the survival and development of an enterprise in the 21st century as the approaching of the increasingly fierce competition in the market and the new phase of intra-production specialization in the global industrialization. The award for Yutong this time well demonstrates of the recognition for Yutong’s long-term strict quality system, which is well ahead of its rivals in the industry.
