Recently, Xiamen-based bus maker King Long rolled out its brand new electric bus XMQ6111AGBEV. Thanks to its spacious interior and optimized battery layout, the eco-friendly vehicle has been warmly welcomed by the public. The vehicle has successfully upgraded several aspects of the electric buses, such as interior space, travel comforts and safety standards. In the meantime, with super short rear suspension design and extended wheelbase, the 10-meter bus is capable of loading 100-plus passengers at the maximum, larger than the passenger loading capacity of a normal 12-meter electric bus.
According to the bus maker, XMQ6111AGBEV electric bus has realized four new breakthroughs.

First, by optimizing its seat layout, the bus has an equivalent passenger loading capacity of a 12-meter bus.
Second, by reducing its length and overall weight by over 1 tons, the bus becomes more energy efficient and is capable of driving for even longer distance.
Third, with the battery mounted at the rear part of the vehicle and optimized front/rear door design, the maximum width reaches 2.5 meters, making it more convenient for passengers to get on/off the bus.
Last, the vehicle can maintain smooth operation in water with the depth of 800-1,000mm, significantly reducing people"s concerns over the safety of the vehicle operating in water.
