The 22nd leaders" unofficial meeting of APEC in 2014 is expected to be held in Beijing soon. During the conference, a fleet of 452 units of Foton luxury coaches is going to provide high-quality transport services for all deligates. According to Foton, the first batch of 60 units Foton MP-S coaches have gone through exam and area ready for delivery.
APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) is one of the most influential organization in Asia with 21 members rotating to host the annual conference. China, after hosting the event in Shanghai in 2001, will be in charge of organizing a host of events in later Nov. this year in its capital Beijing, including leaders" unofficial meeting, ministerial conference and high-level official meeting.
According to sources, over 900 coaches are going to serve at this year"s APEC meeting, including 452 units from Foton, which account for half of the total coach fleet.
So far, Foton coaches have served in a number of high-profile event, including China"s 60th founding anniversary parade, 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, etc. While receiving high recognition from the public, Foton coaches have accumulated rich experience for providing high quality transport services for various events.
