In Jul., an 18-meter electric bus manufactured by Zhuhai-based Granton was officially off production line. According to sources, the vehicle, equipped with electric driving system made by Beijing Prestolite Electric Co., Ltd. (short for PEPS), was delivered to its customer in Bremen, Germany for official operation.
According to the bus maker, the 18-meter eco-friendly bus boasts light weight, super long driving distance and super strong power. Equipped with high-performance iron phosphate battery group made by plus electric driving system manufactured by PEPS. In a test conducted by its German customer, the vehicle delivered a satisfactory performance. Plus, the less amount of noise produced by the vehicle while in operation and its accelerated speed as well as other aspects have impressed its German customer greatly.
According to the bus maker, PEPS electric driving system holds over 100 patents. With uniquely nine level three winding group, external rotors, rectangular wire technology, the vehicle features high efficiency, low rotation speed, large torque and low noise. Thus, it is the first choice for customers planning to buy vehicles of such a kind.
