52 Units Ankai LNG City Bus Put into Operation in Suzhou

In an effort to promote low-carbon economy and provide public with easier access to public transport, Suzhou municipal government in A nhui Province recently purchased 52 units LNG city buses with a total value of 26 million RMB. According to the bus maker, the vehicles are expected to be put into operation in the urban area of the city this month.

Powered by liquified natural gas, LNG buses is capable of cutting fuel consumption by 45% and reducing emissions significantly. With basically zero emissions of carbon dioxide, the bus engine boasts longer life expectancy. As an important move towards eco-friendly city, the use of the LNG buses is expected to provide more green transport services and conveniences for the local citizens.
