On Aug. 15, 2014 China Electric Vehicle Fast Recharging Mode Seminar organized by China Road Transport Association (CRTA) kicked off in Hangzhou. A number of public transport companies and passenger transportation enterprises from 76 major cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Jinan, Lanzhou, and Guangzhou, etc. were invited to participate in the seminar. As a representative manufacturer of high performance electric buses and a model company, Youngman Automobile Group at the conference shared its successful experience in developing and operating fast recharging electric city buses and held discussions about the future development trend of fast-recharging electric buses with representatives sent by public transport companies from various places.
By introducing Neoplan"s technologies from Germany, Youngman has been committed to R&D and production of high-end electric buses with practicalities since Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. Just before the great event, Beijing Government ordered 200 units Youngman fast-recharging electric buses. Currently, the company"s eco-friendly fast-recharging electric buses with competitive prices, long life expectancies, high reliability and high safety standards are leading the new innovations for future development trends.
Currently, the battery technology is the biggest bottleneck which restricted the popularization and promotion of electric buses. After six years" work in research and development, Youngman has successfully rolled out its new generation nano-carbon-lithium batteries. Non-flamable and non-explosive, the battery can be fully recharged in only five minutes and can be recharged for over 100,000 times during its life expectancy for over ten years. With significantly lower operating costs, the eco-friendly vehicle greatly enhances its profitability.
In 2011, after a detailed comparison of the data obtained from a one-year trial operation of different globally-renowned electric bus brands, the world"s leading bus operater Hong Kong Kowloon Bus chose Youngman electric bus. The two companies officially signed sale / purchasing contract in Apr. 2014.
Adhering to the advanced development mode which gives equal emphasis to the growth of its domestic and overseas markets, Youngman electric buses with nano-carbon-lithium batteries has witnessed explosive growth since its debut. Within a short period of three months after its official entry into the bus market in Hong Kong, the bus has already received nearly 20,000 inquiries for the next three years from both home and abroad. Now, Younman is making a new miracle in the history of new energy vehicles.
