After over one year’s construction, the second phase of CSR Times Electric New Energy Vehicle Project recently started official operation. According to the company, it is now capable of producing 10,000 units energy-saving vehicles and new energy buses. Moreover, it is among the first tier of bus makers with the state-of-art manufacturing equipment and techniques.
According to Liu Yang, Deputy General Manager of CSR Times Electric, the company’s second phase project further enhances its production capacity for new energy vehicles and R&D capacity.
Covering an area of 26,471 square meters, CSR Times’ second phase project has built brand new chassis assembly line, coating workshops and recharging workshops. Moreover, the company has renovated its current workshops (used for vehicle body workshop), expanded its waste water treatment stations, recharging stations, and public stations. In addition, the company has purchased a batch of advanced production equipment and testing devices, which are expected to further optimize its production techniques. While in an effort to improve the quality of its bus products, CSR Times Electrics is striving to further expand its market presence.
