Recently, Zhongtong received an order of 140 units energy-saving and new energy buses from Suqian, including 38 gas-powered LCK6950HGN and 102 units plug-in hybrid LCK6106PHENV. In 2014, Suqian Public Transport Co., Ltd. Plans to purchase 140 new buses. So far, a total number of 10 mainstream bus makers have made great efforts to win the favor from the bus operator. With cut-throat competition, eight bus manufacturers took part in the bidding. In the end, Zhongtong became the big winner and thus the bus maker officially made its entry into Suqian city.
Currently, the batch of buses are still to be assembled and will be delivered to their customer in late Oct. this year.
