On Oct. 10, Fujian New Energy Vehicle Promotion and Application Conference & Fujian New Energy Vehicle Fair were held in Fuzhou. The conference is aimed at publicizing and further implementing the Guideline on Speeding up the Application of New Energy Vehicles released by the State Council and Fujian Provincial Government’s Eight Measures on Speeding up the Application of New Energy Vehicles. From 2014 to 2015, Fujian Provincial Government is planning to put 10,000 new energy vehicles on the road. Golden Dragon, as one of China’s leading bus brands, brought seven different types of new energy bus models on display, showing its great supports to help the government implement its plan.
As a leading electric powered bus manufacturer, Xiamen Golden Dragon has been involved in R&D of new energy buses since 2002. Currently, the bus maker boasts a wide spectrum of green vehicles, including light buses (Golden Dragon Hiace), medium electric buses and large coaches. Moreover, it has rolled out tailor made bus models (recharging type and plug-in type, oil-electric hybrid and gas-electric hybrid) to suit customers’ specific demands. To date, Golden Dragon has rolled out over 3,000 energy-saving and new energy buses, which have made their way to Taiwan, Turku in Finland.
During the conference held in Fuzhou, Golden Dragon brought seven green bus models on display, including XML6125JEV80C electric bus, XML6122JHEV85C plug-in bus, XML6700JEV20 Coaster electric bus, and XML5036XXYEV10 Sea Lion electric box-type transportation vehicle.
XML6125JEV electric bus is a new generation of electric bus rolled out by Golden Dragon. With high energy efficiency and zero-emission standard, the vehicle is entitled to enjoy the highest subsidies from the government. To suit customers’ specific demands, the bus has three energy-recharging plans (fast recharging, slow recharging and plug-in type) available. In addition, the vehicle is capable of driving 300 km at the maximum after one recharging.
