Jointly developed by Golden Dragon and the well-renowned bus maker Ebusco from Netherlands, XML6125J58C is a new classic bus model representing a new technological ingenuity. Since 2010, a total number of 300 eco-friendly buses made by Ebusco have been put into routine operation with daily mileage of 325 kilometers. In the next five years, Ebusco is planning to help Europe realize zero-emission for public transport sector. The Golden Dragon bus fleet, after their arrival in Netherlands and Norway will certainly play a significant role for the overall eco-friendly cause in Europe.

With strengthened aluminum body structure, XML6125J58C boasts even higher safety standards. By cutting the vehicle body weight by 0.2-0.5 ton, the green vehicle is lighter in weight and ideal for electric driving system and batteries as well. Apart from reaching zero emission standards, the vehicle is equipped with a body structure totally made by aluminum. As the materials can be recycled for a number of times, the vehicle has upped its recycling rate by over 95%. Thus, the bus maintains a high level of eco-friendliness during its whole life cycle.

Since 2014, Golden Dragon has often been put under the spotlight thanks to its impressive performance in the new energy sector. In early Sept., Fuzhou Public Transport and Kangchi Bus respectively purchased 30 electric buses from the company. In the meantime, ten Coaster electric buses bought by Xiamen Public Transport have started their production. As of early Oct., nearly 200 units plug-in hybrid buses measuring 10.5 meters long have been delivered to Nanning, Sanya and Tianjin. What’s more, Golden Dragon 12-meter electric bus has already made its way to Taiwan. The shipping of 12-meter aluminum electric buses to Netherlands represents a new milestone for Golden Dragon in its development history. According to some statistics, nearly 400 new energy powered buses made by Golden Dragon are making their way to the overseas markets in less than two months.

Golden Dragon pure electric buses feature low energy consumption and zero-emission standards. Equipped with DDR motor system, the vehicle boasts state-of-art torque vector control and energy feedback mechanisms. Thus, the bus is capable of recycling the braking energy as the motor turns on the power generation mode when the vehicle is slowing down. Based on the data of electric current in the motor and the energy storage device, the bus is powered by multi-winding motor. Thus, the vehicle maintains a high level of stability and reliability in terms of large torque output and energy recycling through the energy reuse by multiple channels. It is also worth mentioning that the vehicle is able to brake while in the process of recycling energy, just like being equipped with a retarder. Without frequent braking controls, bus drivers are freed from more manual work. With more stable braking and less noise, the vehicle has further upped the life span of its braking system.

Another eye-catching feature of Golden Dragon electric bus is its automatic and intelligent recharging system, with both electric switching and recharging choices available. In the daytime, the vehicle can be recharged by the AC electric posts at the bus stations. In the nighttime, the bus is able to receive a full power recharge at the parking lot. While being the recharged, the vehicle is constantly monitored by an intelligent monitoring system. Thanks to this, such tasks as collection and processing of the vehicle recharging data, control of recharging mechanisms, control of the intelligent loading, automatic recharging and power cut can be instantly achieved.
