Production of electric passenger vehicles are 2294 units, up by nearly 10 times on last year and production plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles are 2141 units. Electric commercial vehicles product 475 units, up by 36 times on last year and plug-in hybrid commercial vehicles product 775 units. New energy vehicles being listed in Catalogue of Models of New-Energy Automobiles Exempted from Vehicle Purchase Tax (First and Second Group) are 4748 units, taking 84% of the production in October.
From January to October, total production of new energy buses are 47 thousand units, up by almost 5 times on last year, among which electric passenger vehicles are 22.2 thousand units, up by 7 times on last year and plug-in hybrids are 11.1 thousand units, up by 20 times on last year. In addition, products of fuel-cell passenger vehicles are 4 units. Products of electric commercial vehicles are 5723 units, up by 133% on last year and products of plug-in hybrid electric commercial vehicles are 7972 units, up by 181% on last year.
