On Nov. 4, a grand ceremony was held to mark the delivery of new batch of school buses manufactured by Golden Dragon to Guangdong CTS Automobile Service Company. The newly arrived school buses will provide transportation services for primary and middle school students in Guangzhou. More importantly, the operation of school buses by professional bus operators has initiated a new era for standardized management of school bus fleet.
Measuring 11 meters in length, the Gold Dragon school bus is also nicknamed Big Golden Elephant. With 56 seats, the vehicle has its engines mounted in its front. Its massive head is capable of better protecting its passengers inside. In case of an emergency, the safety door at the rear and the automatic glass-breaking device can help students quickly get out the vehicle.
According to Wang Yaozhong, General Manager of Guangdong CTS, “We have exercised more caution when choosing school buses. We believe those enterprises which involve themselves for more social responsibilities are at better positions to produce quality products. China currently has 150 million students studying in primary and middle schools. To fully serve all these students, 1.5 million vehicles are needed and an investment of 460 billion RMB is still expected to be in place. Companies sharing the same aspirations should join hands and only then can they create a win-win situation. Golden Dragon series school buses can meet School Bus Safety Management Regulations and are the representatives of highly reliable vehicles. We firmly believe Golden Dragon school buses will surely ensure the safe transportation of our students.”
