On Dec. 1, the 9th Great Influence to China Buses Industry Reader Survey Activities officially kicked off. Consisting of a number of events, such as 2015 Annual Bus Award, 2015 Chinabuses.com Readership Research, China Buses Observations, China Buses Development Summit, a series of events are expected to last 40 days. During all these events, readers online are encouraged to make their own votes, experts and those involved in bus industry are all invited to hand in their papers and discuss related issues in bus manufacturing industry. On Jan. 9, 2015, China Bus Development Forum & Chinabuses.com Reader Survey and Award Ceremony will be held in Beijing. Apart from reviewing all influential events occurred in 2014, the high-profile series events will hold heated discussions about the new development trends in China’s bus industry in 2015.
The series events held by Chinabuses.com are held at every year’s end or the beginning of the new year. While recording the development history of China’s bus industry, we are hoping to track down the most significant event, the most valuable activity, the most memorable achievement and the most dynamic enterprise. 2015 Recommendation on Buses & Coaches to Overseas Markets officially kicked off on Dec. 3 in 2014. Co-hosted by Chinabuses.org and Allison Transmission, the election has already begun among the readers.
In 2014, China’s bus industry witnessed rapid expansion in overseas markets. In the first half of the year, China exported a total number of 39,915 units buses (including chassis), up by 79.18% year on year. The total export value stood at 1.172 billion USD, up by 36.51%. It is worth mentioning that in July alone three major export deal stood out, namely Zhongtong’s export of 2,186 school buses to Saudi Arabia, Yutong’s deal of 1,500 units buses with Venezuela, and Ankai’s export of 1,100 units of buses to Algeria. Nowadays, the overseas market has become increasingly indispensable to China’s bus makers. The year of 2014 will also be recorded in the history of Chinese buses’ overseas expansion as a turning point.
