At the beginning of 2015, Foton Vehicle New Energy Base in Shandong Province officially opened, at the same time, the 10,000 units of Foton AUV bus rolled off the line， which presented a eco-friendly gift for the new year.
As a domestic leading new energy bus manufacture, in 2014, the annual production and sales volume of Foton new energy buses reached a new height of exceeding 20,000 units.
As a division of Foton Vehicle New Energy Base in Shandong, the Foton AUV new energy bus base is expected to invest 1.5 billion RMB on projects with annual production volume of 10,000 units (school buses included),, covering new energy public buses, new energy group buses and school buses, with an expected annual income of nearly 7 billion.
With the operation of Foton new energy base, Foton Shandong base will boost the capacity of 600,000 units of complete vehicles that become competitive in the international market on developing and manufacturing of high-end light commercial buses, multi-function vehicles and new energy vehicles.
