On January 5, 2015, 209 units of Higer electric buses are lined up in Higer bus plant, prepared to operate in Suzhou, serving Suzhou residents with zero-emission green operation.
According to sources, the 209 units of Higer buses are ordered by Suzhou Automobile Passenger Transportation Group Co., Ltd., including electric medium buses and electric light buses. On the delivery ceremony, the vice general manager of Higer, Xie Feiming passes the key model symbolizing prosperous future to the vice general manager of Suzhou Automobile Passenger Transportation Group Co., Ltd., Song Jian, which demonstrates that Suzhou will apply more electric buses on short-distance highway passenger transport and shuttle bus leasing, which set a benchmark for the application of electric buses in Jiangsu Province and even the whole country.
