On Mar. 3, 2015, Zhongtong 6-meter pure electric mini city bus is officially launched to the market. After three years of development in response to the rising demand for urban pubic transportation construction, especially in those newly built living areas.

Zhongtong’s new bus model, with ultra short front and rear suspensions as well as the narrow body greatly improve its operation flexibility. The big left security door further enhances its safety standards and at the same time lengthens its wheelbase and maximize interior space for passengers. The central one-step double doors help the vehicle load and unload passengers more quickly.
According to data collected from its operation, the electric bus saves about 0.6 yuan per kilometer compared with traditional diesel powered bus. With a daily mileage about 200km, Zhongtong new bus model saves 120 yuan every day and 43,800 yuan every year. For its life-cycle, it can help bare very bus operators save a substantial amount of money. At the same time, due to relative simple mechanical structure, electric buses also help cut maintenance costs on engine and gearbox.
It is worth mentioning that, the product is equipped with whole life-cycle monitoring and management system which transmits data through the remote monitoring system and detects real-time vehicle high voltage insulation conditions in the backstage. Thus, it has realized local and remote state monitoring, problem diagnosis, data acquisition and analysis, etc.
