On February 12th, 2015, double-deck bus operation ceremony was held in Nanchang. 10 units of King long XMQ6111SGN5 double-deck buses were delivered to Nanchang Public Transport. Zhu Xi, Secretary of the Party committee in Jiangxi Province, director of Jiangxi Provincial Department of transport, Vice Mayor of Nanchang City Liu Jiafu, general manager of municipal public group Wan Yihui, general manager of Nanchang City public transport company Li Ming and other officials attended the ceremony and cut the ribbon for the new operation. This activity widely attracted attention from Nanchang television and other media.
In 2014, in response to the call of the government, Nanchang Public Transport purchased 24 units of King Long XMQ6119AGN5 luxury buses, and at the beginning of this year, again purchased 10 units of King Long double-deck buses. It is reported, this is a double decker bus orders only 100 bus plan, will run in Nanchang bus Honggutan matching center to train station line.
