Recently, Ningbo, the second largest city in Zhejiang Province, welcomes its first electric buses to start operation on No. 166 route which sets very strict requirement on the driver, vehicle as well as service due to the large passenger flow.
The two units of 12-meter low-floor electric buses are from Chinese renowned bus manufacture Higer. With new fashion styling appearance, unique closed driving cab design and comfortable seating layout, the vehicle becomes an impressive view on the street.
This Higer electric bus is equipped with domestic leading continuously variable transmission and new energy control system, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of the driver. Video monitoring system in all directions without dead angle and advanced automatic glass blasting device increase safety keeping the driver reassured even when emergency happens.
To ensure the smooth operation of the two electric buses, after comprehensive investigations, Ningbo Yinzhou Transport jointly with Higer build one double-gun recharging port at the station.
